When something doesn't work.

Windows warns before the installer runs

Sasonica-Setup isn't signed yet, so you may see two warnings. First the browser: Edge or Chrome may say the .cmd file could harm your computer. Choose Keep (in Edge, open the … menu next to the download first).

Then Windows SmartScreen: “Windows protected your PC”. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

“sasonica” is not recognised

The installer adds the sasonica command for terminals opened after it ran. Close the terminal (PowerShell, Terminal or Termux) and open a new one.

Claude chats don't start

Sasonica uses the Claude Code already on that computer. Install it and sign in there once, following Anthropic's Claude Code setup, then check Settings → Coding agents in the app.

The app can't reach the server

Check the computer is on and awake, and that the installer finished. A server's address can change when it restarts; the app finds the new one by itself once the server is back up.

Still not connecting? When a server can't be reached explains why and how to fix it.

Pair a phone again

On the computer running the server, open a terminal and run:

sasonica pair --device "My phone"

It prints a link (and a QR code). In the app, tap Connect to my server and paste the link, or open it on the phone.
